Houston Nissan GT-R enthusiast will tell you, the fastest version of any Nissan manufactured will gloat with a "Spec V" emblem on it. It was the case with R34, the R35, and also the 2009 and 2010 Nissan GT-R. Houston Nissan dealerships didn't know if Nissan decided with building a SpecV version of the GT-R up until last year, and information has always been limited. The SpecV is officially on sale, but it's just not coming to Houston Nissan dealerships.
When looking at the Nissan GT-R's specs, they don't seem different from the base model. It's powered with the same VR38DETT engine but with an increased output of a mere 5 bhp to 485 bhp while the torque stays the same at 434 lb.-ft. So Don't worry, just because Nissan decided not to realese it's upgraded GT-R SpecV to the states doesn't mean your missing out on anything. The base Nissan GT-R is idealy just as fast! As far as pricing goes, it's a fact that not 1 Houston Nissan dealership that can MATCH or BEAT my price. Not ONE!
